badges and badges

Some women collect handbags, others shoes. I have never been a shoes or handbag person. I collect various things from toys to dresses to scarves. Those who know my crafts will know that the majority of items I hand craft consist of badges. I am a badge person. I have aquired a collection of badges, not just made by me, but by the wonderful range of crafters I have met at the many fairs I have sold at and visited. A badge is a very simple way of changing your outfit, making a statement or in my case, showing off something beautiful. So I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you!
Panda, robin and owl by my lovely friend and fellow craft lover Amy Panda.
Cotton reel and custard cream by Jodie Anna who's items are just devine! check out her new british jewellrey range!
Eiffel tower, diamond and teapot by Kayleigh O'Mara, who creates wonderfully illustrated badges and cards!
What kind of things do you collect?

Etsy and Folksy

Just a quick post to remind you all of my etsy and folksy shops! There are some one-off items on there not to be missed! When they're gone, they're gone!
I will be updating my shop and posting some more photos, news and inspirations this week. I have some time off work to get things organised and have a rest too!

Spring Craft Fair - Sheffield!

Tomorrow, I will be selling my hand crafted goodies at Sheffield Student Union, a lovely venue in the heart of Sheffield. There will be crafts, workshops, food, beauty stalls and more all in one vibrant space! This is the fair that awarded me with 'best dressed stall' just before Christmas and is one of my favourites - awesome folk and great atmoshpere. Come up and see me - what better way to spend your Saturday!

Spring is slowly arriving, beautiful skies, fresh colours and that wonderful spring smell in the air! I love colour and anyone who's seen my crafts and stall will know this! It is very important to me that my fabrics are the right colours and patterns to compliment my illustrations. So below are a few photos I've taken to celebrate my love of colour (and pencils)!

This Saturday 10th I will be selling at Sheffield Millenium Galleries with the ever so marvellous Reet Sweet! Come along and see what fantastic goodies are on sale! Take a look at the blog for more information and previews!
